SWEET STYLES NATURALS POLICY

Thank you for choosing Sweet Styles Naturals. To ensure a smooth, professional experience for all clients, please review our policies below.

APPOINTMENTS & DEPOSITS
 

  • A 50% deposit is required to reserve your appointment.

  • This deposit is refundable only if you cancel 48 hours before your scheduled time appointment.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your appointment cannot be refunded. However, you may reschedule (one time) 48 hours before your scheduled time appointment to transfer the deposit to a new date.

  • If you do not reschedule 48 hours before your original appointment, the deposit is forfeited.

  • Once you reschedule, your initial deposit becomes non-refundable.

  • No-call/no-show will result in a charge of 100% of the service; you will also be ineligible to rebook in the future.

PAYMENTS

  • After your service, the remaining 50% balance is due.

  • We accept cash, Zelle, PayPal only.

​

BOOKING SERVICES

  • Please book all services you need at the time of scheduling, so we can allot proper timing.

  • If you’re unsure about what to book, please schedule a consultation first only.

​

TARDINESS​

  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes prior to your appointment.

  • If you are running late, let us know. We can hold your appointment for up to 15 minutes.

  • After 15 minutes, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and charge 100% of the service (your deposit will be retained, and the remaining balance will be charged to the card on file).

RESCHEDULING 

  • To reschedule, please use the link in your confirmation email 48 hours before your appointment. If you’re unable to access the link, you may instead email or text us within that 48-hour window. Once you reschedule, your original deposit is non-refundable.

SERVICE SATISFACTION & ADJUSTMENTS

  • We do not offer refunds on completed services.

  • If you are dissatisfied, please notify us within 48 hours of your service. We will do our best to address your concerns if deemed appropriate and within reason.

MANDATORY CONSULTATIONS

  • A consultation is required for any client who:

    • Is transitioning from relaxed to natural hair

    • Has excessive heat damage or relies on flat ironing

    • Suffers from severe dryness or damage

    • Is newly natural

    • Has only worn protective styles

    • Has not consulted a professional for their natural curly hair

    • Frequently wears tight ponytails/buns

    • Is new to wash-and-go styling

    • Is unsure of a desired style 

  • If you fall into these categories, please book a consultation along with your service.

    • If you only need guidance on understanding your natural hair or selecting the right service, schedule a consultation only. Afterward, you may book the appropriate styling service based on our evaluation.

COLOR CONSULTATION

  • Please note that we only offer color services to returning clientsA complimentary consultation is mandatory before any color service.

  • Do not book a color service without first booking a color consultation.

APPOINTMENT PREPARATION

  • Arrive with your hair detangled and in its natural state, free of excessive product and accessories (clips, buns, hats).

  • For braids or protective styles, If you are coming out of a braid or protective style, it is mandatory to thoroughly shampoo, condition, and detangle your hair before arriving for your appointment. Excessive shedding and product buildup can cause locking, so please follow these instructions carefully.

    • Failure to properly detangle before arrival will result in appointment cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit (no exceptions).

  • Please minimize leave-in products; avoid oily, greasy hair or gels; hair should be fully dry.

GUESTS POLICY

  • Due to limited space and to maintain a comfortable environment, no additional guests or children who are not being serviced are allowed in the salon.

PRODUCT RETURNS + EXCHANGE

  • All product sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges on any products.

​

ALLERGIES, MEDICAL CONDITIONS, MEDICATIONS

  • Inform us of any illness, injury, or changes to your health status prior to your appointment.

  • We are not responsible for adverse reactions if pertinent health information is not disclosed.
